Internal Audits (Operational, Financial, Technical, Compliance)
We can perform, on an engagement, or limited scope, basis the full range of operational, financial, technical, and compliance audits. This includes Sarbanes – Oxley sections 404 and 302 compliance. We are able to assist with documentation and testing, by either leading the project team, as project team members, or as “best practice” advisors to the project or audit management teams.

Revitalizing dysfunctional audit departments
If your Audit Department is not delivering as it should and you are responsible for the department, then contact us for a confidential discussion. We can very discreetly insert ourselves into your processes and help bring your department back on track and reestablish or develop credibility as a strategic, value added, function within your organization
Audit Liaison
The “Audit Liaison” service, unique to our firm, is where we act as your agent in dealing with internal and external auditors. Being tri-lingual (business, technology, and “auditspeak”), we enable better communication by reducing confusion and frustration. We minimize the impact to your organization caused by the auditors’ well-intentioned but arguably time-wasting practices. We serve as your advocate until you are satisfied that they know what and how they want to review and have appropriate criteria for rendering an opinion. We also facilitate meetings with the operating personnel to ensure minimal disruption.
Finally, acting as your agent, and in collaboration with your staff, we develop the appropriate responses and management comments to audit reports and findings, obtain your approval, and then present them to the auditors. We will also manage resolution of any problems they may have with the response. We are uniquely qualified for this service since we are intimately familiar with the various audit frameworks of internal controls and risks. As your representatives, we will challenge findings that are immaterial, wrong, or have the incorrect perspective.
Contract Performance Monitoring/Reporting
We can assist with monitoring your vendor contracts and outsourced services that are performed on your behalf. Outsourced services generally require independent review and monitoring to meet two ends - to satisfy you (our client) that you are receiving what the contract specifies and to provide the outsourcer with reports of performance they can use for quality assurance.
It is a win-win arrangement. Our clients receive assurance of performance and the contractor receives an “early warning” of potential problems.
For Governments and not-for-profit agencies:
Various government and not-for-profit-sponsored community support programs are provided by (or outsourced to) contracted service organizations. These are usually funded by grants stipulating that services provided are consistent with the grant terms and that performance is independently verified, monitored, or audited on an on-going basis. Monitoring these types of performance contracts is a necessary, yet often unfulfilled, obligation which risks failure to renew the funding. We will satisfy this obligation on your behalf.
Temporary/Interim Staffing and Management
We can augment your organization with audit staff or management, short-term or long-term. We are also available to assist your HR staff or recruiting firm with interviewing and screening potential candidates. Should you want to convert one of our interim staff into a permanent position, we can likely do that as well.
